Hi, I'm Brian — the photographer behind BR Photography.
I'm based in Horsforth, on the edge of Leeds, and I've spent the last 10 years photographing people, brands and moments across Yorkshire. What started as shooting friends' clothing brands turned into a full-time focus on portrait, fashion and personal branding work.
I shoot mostly on location — city streets, industrial backdrops, golden-hour spots I've scouted around Leeds — because I'd rather build a shoot around real light and real texture than a plain studio backdrop. My style leans editorial: strong composition, natural expression, confident colour.
A lot of people tell me they feel awkward in front of a camera. That's normal, and it's part of my job to get past it — most sessions start with fifteen minutes of just talking and walking before the camera comes out properly. The best shots usually happen once someone forgets I'm there.
